Nevada Attorney General Complaint
Justice for Vulnerable Nevadans, a Sacred Job
Of course, such behavior is an affront to the legal system and must be addressed and rectified, not only to remedy this egregious wrong, but to ensure no other individual becomes victim to the predatory tactics of a financial institution that firmly believes they are free to operate outside the law.
Fortunately, Aaron Ford has repeated and reinforced the purpose and policy of the Attorney General and committed his office to “enforcing Nevada law and upholding justice for the protection and benefit of our citizens.”
As further noted by AG Ford, “our job is justice”, and the OAG is “dedicated to one of the most sacred responsibilities of the office: seeking justice for victims of crime, protecting vulnerable Nevadans, and simply treating all people with dignity and respect.” The actions of BDCU took advantage of their superior position, exploited the vulnerable and elderly, and must be held accountable.
